Globetrotting

A Fusion of Whole Foods, Urban Farming, & Travel

“Adventure is a path. Real adventure – self-determined, self-motivated, often risky – forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world. The world the way it is, not the way you imagine it.” -Mark Jenkins

Normal people like vacations…stress-free, limitless alcoholic drinks, sleeping in, and a pillowy soft bed …

I am not normal. I rarely sleep in. I can’t drink more than 2 -3 drinks usually without conking out.

I prefer to go on  ”adventures” over vacations. I travel to stretch my own limits, learn, grow,  experience local cuisine and find hidden gems one cannot necessarily read about online or experience on a tour. It is also an excellent way to showcase  photography skills or in my case, lack thereof. I am learning!

When I meet you, a traveler, in a remote town in the middle of Bolivia and share a drink with you, tell me about the local 80 year old gaucho you met and  lunched with, the local empanadas you ate, that cute little hostile you stayed in , and I will be  happy as a clam.

When I travel, I foster an appreciation of both an  imperfect, beautiful world-at-large  and  mornings on my sunny  front porch in Georgia. The beauty in travel is in the little things you experience along the way.
